Who is Legio Intermeratus?

Legio Intermeratus Tabletop e.V. is a tabletop club in Augsburg and one of the oldest tabletop hobby clubs in the city. We play Warhammer, trading card games, board games and roleplaying games, paint miniatures and run our own tournaments, all built on fair play and an open community. Find out more about the whole tabletop offering on the tabletop page. We are here for Augsburg and Bavarian Swabia.

Our story

It all started the way many good clubs do: a few people, a shared hobby and the wish to get together around a table on a regular basis. Over the years that circle grew into one of the oldest tabletop hobby clubs in Augsburg.

Today you will find beginners and old hands here, painters and battlefield commanders, TCG players and roleplaying groups, from the young to the young at heart. What unites us is not a single system but the joy of building something together: an army, a painted regiment, a tournament day, a friendship. Fair play is a given for us.

Our home is the clubhouse in central Augsburg. The tables, terrain and paints are ready here, our club nights run here, and this is where our own events take shape, from tournaments to the summer festival. You do not need to be a pro to belong. You just need the wish to take part.

What we stand for

Our values

Tabletop is a hobby for people, not just for models. These principles shape how we play together.

What matters to us

  • Fair play first.A good game is worth more than a forced win. Our Gentlemen Score rewards exactly that.
  • An open community. We take newcomers seriously and welcome anyone who wants to take part, whatever their experience.
  • For beginners and pros.Nobody needs to be a good painter or own an army to try something out, and experienced players find well-matched opponents.
  • The whole hobby.Playing, painting, building terrain, loving the lore: every part of the hobby has a place here.

How we live it

  1. 1

    Talking comes first

Before a game we agree on rules, lists and expectations, so there are no nasty surprises at the table.

  2. 2

    Knowledge is shared

Experienced members show newcomers the systems, painting techniques and tricks. No one has to figure it all out alone.

  3. 3

    Everyone can shape it

Tournaments, the summer festival, outings, campaigns: much of it we put on together, voluntarily and with a smile. Bring your ideas.

More than just playing

A community that sticks together

Legio is not only a place to play, paint and build. We do things together too, and everyone can help shape it.

  • An active WhatsApp community. Regular chat, tips, group orders and quick organising.
  • Outings and mini-events. Shared cinema trips, small events and activities across the year.
  • Eating together. On many evenings we order food together, it is simply part of the deal.
  • Everyone can shape it. From the young to the young at heart, first-timer to hobby veteran: bring your ideas.
