2 Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider:
STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Strasse 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.
The servers are located in Germany. When you access our website, the provider processes technically necessary data (e.g. access data and server log files) transmitted by your browser. This is required to make the website available securely and reliably.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient provision of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement (Auftragsverarbeitung, Art. 28 GDPR) in place with the provider, ensuring that processing is confidential and carried out on our instructions.
3 Server log files (Server-Logfiles)
When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These typically include:
- the page visited or file requested,
- the date and time of access,
- the amount of data transferred,
- notification of successful retrieval,
- browser type and version,
- operating system,
- referrer URL (the previously visited page),
- a shortened or processed IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources and is used solely for technical operation, security and error analysis. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The log files are stored only for as long as is necessary for these purposes.
4 Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. your email address, your name and the content of your message) in order to handle and respond to your enquiry.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where it concerns entering into or carrying out a membership, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We do not use contact forms on this website; contact is made exclusively by email. We delete your enquiries as soon as they are no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
5 Cookies & audience measurement
This website uses no cookies and embeds no external content such as web fonts, map iframes or social media plugins that would transfer data to third parties simply on page load. The links to our channels (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Discord, WhatsApp) are plain links; only when you click them and visit the respective platform do that platform's own privacy terms apply.
For statistical analysis of usage we use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly, cookieless web analytics tool. GoatCounter stores no cookies, builds no cross-device user profiles and stores no full IP addresses. Only aggregated data is collected, such as the pages viewed, approximate origin (country), the previously visited page (referrer) and browser and device type. It does not allow individual persons to be identified.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a data-minimising statistical analysis to improve our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6 Your rights as a data subject (Betroffenenrechte)
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:
- access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
