Step by step

How to become a member

No paperwork marathon, no pressure. You get to know us first, then you decide.

  1. Get in touch

Drop us a short message by email or through the link hub. That way we know you're coming and can tell you when it's busiest.

  2. Come by & play

Have a look at the club rooms, watch a few games or try a demo. Come by and see for yourself. Your first visit is free.

  3. Become part of the community

If it's a good fit, let us know. We'll explain the next steps. As a member, you can come and go whenever you like and become part of our club community.

More than playing

A community that does things together

Legio isn't only a place to play, paint and build. We do things together, and everyone can help shape it and bring ideas.

  • Active internal WhatsApp community: chat, tips and group orders
  • Shared activities: cinema trips, ordering food together, outings
  • Mini-events we put together as a group
  • Over 30 active members, and more every month

What you bring

That's all it takes

What matters most is interest and a willingness to meet people. You'll find the rest with us. For us, fair play and a friendly atmosphere are a given.

  • Interest in the hobby and a willingness to try something new
  • A quick message beforehand so we know you're coming
  • Your own models or games are welcome, but not required
  • For younger members: a parent's consent

You don't need to own an army to watch or play a demo game.

Membership & fees

A club, not a commercial service

Looking around is and stays free. If you stick around, your contribution helps carry the club. Legio Intermeratus is a registered association (eingetragener Verein), not a commercial hobby space: we don't rent out tables, we run our clubhouse together. We genuinely rely on the membership contributions to do that.

What your contribution covers

It carries everything that keeps our clubhouse running:

  • Rent, electricity, heating, cleaning and ongoing running costs
  • Upkeep of the clubhouse and securing the lease
  • Terrain, gaming boards, equipment and new projects
  • Reserves to pre-finance purchases and support projects

We are not run for profit. Everything that comes in flows straight back into the club and its life. Members are welcome to suggest purchases and start their own projects.

What you can use as a member

  • 24/7 access to the clubhouse via our electronic lock
  • over 150 m² of space, nine Tabletop tables and two tables for TCG & board games
  • terrain, boards, mats and equipment on site, plus fixed storage for armies and material
  • an internal community with active groups, finding opponents, coaching and group orders
  • tournaments, demo evenings, outings, painting workshops and your own events with the club's support

Tabletop or TCG & board games?

Trading-card and board-game players pay a reduced contribution, because that needs less terrain, fewer boards and less equipment. Our clubhouse has plenty of room for everyone. Only during Tabletop events or fixed game nights are the Tabletop boards reserved for regular Tabletop members; the tables for TCG and board games are always available.

Want to give Tabletop a try? Very welcome. If you'd like to play Tabletop regularly, you can simply switch to the regular membership.
